Introducing Dan: The Live Bass Powerhouse Behind Three To One’s Stage Sound

Three To One is all about raw energy, tight chemistry, and honest rock music—and when it comes to our live shows, one of the key elements that brings it all together is our live bassist, Dan. While our official bassist Josh isn’t able to make most shows, Dan has stepped up in a big way, helping us deliver a powerful and seamless performance every time we hit the stage.

Who Is Dan?

Originally from Medellín, Colombia, Dan is a seasoned musician with a deep love for all things bass. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music and brings over 20 years of experience playing everything from classical and Celtic to metal, reggae, Latin, and hard rock. That musical diversity is part of what makes Dan such a perfect fit for Three To One—he brings a tight groove, a fresh ear, and a ton of energy to our sound.

Why Dan Rocks

Dan’s not just a fill-in—he’s an essential part of our live chemistry. His tone, timing, and on-stage presence elevate every performance. Whether we're playing small local venues or festival stages, Dan brings consistency and fire that keeps the rhythm locked in and the crowd moving.

More Than a Bassist

Outside of Three To One, Dan’s played with a wide range of bands including Inside The Fire (a Disturbed tribute), Najibo Musical Show, ProjectY, Mac Tier Celtic Rock, and more. His versatility, professionalism, and passion for music shine in every project he takes on.

Oh—and when he’s not playing bass? Dan is also a pilot. That same sense of focus and adventure he brings to flying is what fuels his creative spark on stage.

We’re Lucky to Have Him

Having Dan on stage with us means our songs hit with the weight and emotion they deserve. His dedication helps us stay sharp and continue delivering the kind of show our fans expect—and deserve.

Come see Dan in action at one of our upcoming shows, and experience how much he adds to the sound and spirit of Three To One. You can learn more about him at dspobass.me.
